About the role
Chesterton is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to lead sales and business development across Central Mexico, covering Mexico City, State of Mexico and surrounding states. The role will manage a team of Retail Specialists and drive growth in key industrial sectors.
Key responsibilities
- Meet and exceed territory sales targets through a dedicated sales team.
- Lead, coach and monitor performance of Retail Specialists, aligning with forecasts and business plans.
- Plan and execute sales strategies, new product launches and market programs.
- Conduct customer visits, high‑level presentations and account planning with key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with corporate functions (HR, IT, Finance) for smooth commercial execution.
- Promote process improvements and maintain high standards in order processing and customer service.
- Provide feedback to internal teams to improve product offerings and marketing.
- Participate in business reviews and ensure compliance with quality, safety, legal and environmental policies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial) or Business Administration.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial or technical sales, distributor management or sales leadership.
- Proven ability to mentor, coach, hire and manage performance.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with influence across organizational levels.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within Western Mexico.
