Seed Logistics Lead

About the role

Syngenta’s Continuous Nurseries team is looking for a Seed Logistics Lead to manage transportation and logistics activities in Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco. The role ensures shipments comply with legal, regulatory and ethical standards while supporting the company’s mission to deliver high‑quality seeds worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of goods in line with company standards and international trade laws, applying deep knowledge of customs legislation.
• Monitor daily operations, report infractions, and review internal policies to mitigate risks and liabilities.
• Organize, plan and prioritize workflow to meet operational goals and deadlines.
• Serve as primary contact for stakeholders, foreign agents and transport providers to ensure efficient shipment flow.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Business Administration, Economics or a related field.
• Proficient written and spoken English.
• Experience in air import and export and familiarity with global import/export legislation.
• Proven track record in multimodal logistics coordination (air and land).
• Advanced data analysis capabilities.
• Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and strong communication skills.
