Senior Associate – Ocular Health Pharma Field Sales

About the role

Alcon is seeking a Medical Sales Representative focused on Dry Eye products to join its Ocular Health Pharma sales team in Mexico City. The role involves promoting pharmaceutical solutions, building relationships with healthcare professionals, and driving growth across North Mexico City, Estado de México and Hidalgo.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and increase market share of Dry Eye pharmaceutical products by executing sales strategies and supporting prescription generation.
• Visit doctors, clinics, hospitals, pharmacies, optical shops and distributors within the assigned territory.
• Build trusted relationships with healthcare professionals and key accounts to educate and influence product adoption.
• Plan and execute disciplined call schedules, customer segmentation and route execution to ensure optimal coverage.
• Prepare accurate reports on calls, business opportunities, competitor activity and territory performance.
• Maintain compliance with Alcon’s sales techniques, SOPs and GxP regulations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Marketing, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Optometry or related field.
• 1–2+ years of sales experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare or ophthalmology.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing a sales territory.
• Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities with doctors, pharmacists and other healthcare stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset to assess territory potential, customer needs and competitor activity.
• Willingness to travel across the assigned territory and adhere to corporate guidelines.
