Senior Labor Law Attorney (Consulting)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Labor Law Attorney to join our consulting team in Mexico City or Monterrey. The professional will provide day‑to‑day labor counsel to a diverse client base, ensuring compliance with Mexican labor legislation and helping clients navigate complex employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and apply Mexican labor laws, regulations, and compliance standards for clients.
• Draft, review, and update employment agreements, internal policies, and labor‑related documentation.
• Advise on employee‑relations issues such as terminations, disciplinary actions, restructuring, and risk mitigation.
• Maintain a client‑first mindset, building strong, trusted relationships with stakeholders.
• Deliver timely, high‑quality legal advice while working both independently and as part of a team.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience as a labor attorney in a consulting environment.
• Bilingual proficiency (Spanish and English).
• Strong client service orientation and excellent communication skills.
• Maturity, gravitas, and high emotional intelligence.
• Ability to work under pressure with a high sense of urgency.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of Mexican labor law and regulations.
• Experience drafting employment contracts and corporate policies.
• Proficiency in legal research and risk assessment.
