Senior Property Management Attorney

About the role

The Property Management Senior Attorney acts as the primary legal liaison for the Property Management team, overseeing all real‑estate related legal matters for a portfolio of stores across Mexico. The role ensures business continuity, provides trusted counsel, and safeguards company assets throughout the store lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the main legal point of contact for Property Management, Maintenance, Asset Management, Field Operations and Store Development.
• Establish and maintain a framework for business continuity and efficient legal operations related to real‑estate matters.
• Negotiate, draft, and review a wide range of documents, including lease extensions, commercial contracts, amendments, easement agreements, estoppels, and non‑disturbance/attornment agreements.
• Manage landlord‑tenant and other real‑estate disputes.
• Create and maintain a comprehensive database of all real‑estate portfolio information.
• Monitor developments in commercial real‑estate law and contribute to updates of company policies, practices and forms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) or equivalent.
• Law degree.
• Five to seven years of professional experience, with three to five years focused on real‑estate or contract matters.
• Proven experience in real‑estate, contracts, and administration.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
