Senior Tax Accountant Coordinator

About the Position

Join a global leader in the automotive and technology industry as a Senior Tax Accountant Coordinator. You will play a pivotal role within our Finance team, ensuring full tax compliance and driving excellence in reporting processes for our Mexican operations.

Main Missions

• Ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax obligations in Mexico.
• Prepare, review, and coordinate monthly and annual tax filings (VAT/IVA, ISR, withholdings, payroll taxes).
• Perform tax account reconciliations and monitoring within the ERP system.
• Support tax audits and manage responses to SAT requirements.
• Coordinate the preparation and review of electronic invoicing (CFDI) and essential tax documentation.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Payroll, AP, and AR teams to ensure transaction compliance.
• Participate in tax planning initiatives, risk assessments, and process improvement projects.
• Stay updated on evolving Mexican tax legislation and work closely with external tax advisors and auditors.
• Prepare tax reports, reconciliations, and management presentations for leadership.

Profile Required

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ideally supplemented by specialized tax training.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in tax compliance.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in a tax coordination role.
• Advanced proficiency in English (essential for global reporting).
• Deep expertise in Mexican tax regulations (ISR, IVA, CFDI, SAT requirements, local taxes).
