Senior Tax Analyst – Monterrey

About the role

British American Tobacco Mexico is seeking a Senior Tax Analyst to join its finance team in Monterrey. You will be responsible for managing corporate tax compliance, supporting audits, and collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure accurate tax reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Compute and submit monthly advance tax payments (VAT, Income Tax, Withholdings) and annual tax returns.
• Prepare and file Corporate Income, Excise, Withholdings, and VAT tax returns.
• Develop working papers for statutory tax reports and coordinate with external tax auditors.
• Monitor tax matters issued by tax authorities and gather information for Transfer Pricing reports.
• Assist with deferred and current tax reporting, cash‑flow tax analysis, and tax audits.
• Reconcile tax entries and make adjustments to the general ledger.
• Coordinate tax‑related projects with IT and other business partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxation or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of experience in tax, accounting or control functions.
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and accounting principles.
• Excellent communication, organizational skills and ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous development.
• Advanced level of English.
