Site Nurse

About the role

The Site Nurse is responsible for administering the occupational health program at a Jabil manufacturing plant. This role ensures employee health and safety through preventive medicine services, first‑aid response, and coordination of medical examinations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide preventive medicine services and attend to injured or ill personnel.
• Transport injured or ill employees using professional judgment.
• Maintain accurate employee health records and generate required reports.
• Conduct monthly Injuries and Illness Prevention Audits.
• Administer drug‑screening programs and manage controlled medication dispensing.
• Assist physicians with periodic and new‑hire medical examinations.
• Deliver first‑aid training and maintain a minimum 80% service‑satisfaction rating.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety policies, SAA, OSHA, and certification requirements.

Required profile

• Ability to present information clearly to managers, clients, and the public.
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the capacity to collect data and draw valid conclusions.
• Proficiency in using a Windows‑based PC and related software, including Jabil’s internal applications.
• Basic numeracy and literacy to follow simple instructions and complete documentation.
