Site Operations Manager, Global Manufacturing Operations

About the role

Google is looking for a Site Operations Manager to lead the optimization of logistics and manufacturing processes for its global server operations. The role is client‑facing and based onsite in Guadalajara, where you will drive process improvements, change management, and standardization across the manufacturing footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Lead logistics optimization and incorporate industry best practices.
• Develop and implement process improvement recommendations and change‑management initiatives.
• Standardize user documentation and create actionable processes.
• Manage new project initiatives for Americas server operations logistics (3‑24 months).
• Produce Business Requirements Documents (BRD) and present findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partner teams and external vendors.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5 years experience in manufacturing operations, supply chain, or related technical field.
• At least 5 years managing contract manufacturers or external vendors.
• 5+ years experience with PCBA manufacturing and Level 6+ system integration and assembly processes.
• Proven ability to manage end‑to‑end logistics, material flow, and inventory accuracy.
• Data‑driven performance management experience with KPIs and OKRs for on‑time delivery, yield, and efficiency.
