Software Engineer I

About the role

Software Engineer I will join the Zenput Core Platform team to develop new features and maintain enterprise‑grade products that power restaurant operations worldwide. You will work across the full‑stack, from APIs to mobile UI, in an agile environment focused on delivering value quickly.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and test new customer‑facing functionality for web and mobile applications.
• Maintain and improve the stability, scalability and performance of the Zenput platform.
• Collaborate with product, quality and operations teams using Scrum ceremonies and tight feedback loops.
• Apply Test‑Driven Development, Continuous Integration and DevOps best practices.
• Communicate progress and issues via Jira, Slack and Zoom.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a bias toward over‑communicating and asking questions.
• Curiosity for mentorship, self‑development and open‑source contributions.
• Background in computer science or related systems discipline.
