Tax Advisor – Mexico

About the role

The Tax Advisor will join Charger Logistics’ Finance Team to ensure compliance with Mexican tax regulations and support corporate tax filing, payments and audits. This position offers the chance to deepen tax expertise while working in a fast‑growing logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns and manage SAT portal interactions.
• Handle HST/GST/QST filings and coordinate with CRA and Mexican tax authorities.
• Research Mexican tax issues and support inter‑company transaction tax treatment.
• Assist the Tax Manager with tax elections, consulting projects and audit responses.
• Provide tax inputs for budgeting, forecasting and financial statement analysis.
• Participate in due‑diligence reviews and identify potential tax liabilities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related field; Master’s or specialization in taxes required.
• Minimum 3 years experience in tax accounting, specifically Mexican taxes and tax audits.
• Strong knowledge of SAT processes and corporate tax compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English (intermediate‑advanced).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
