Technical Project Manager

About the role

The Technical Project Manager will lead logistics automation initiatives across The LEGO Group’s manufacturing footprint, driving efficiency, flow, and agility in factories worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end logistics automation projects from concept through final implementation.
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, timelines and budgets aligned with business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, IT, operations, procurement and external suppliers to ensure seamless integration.
• Introduce and implement innovative automation solutions that improve factory efficiency.
• Coordinate partners and communications across global locations to maintain alignment and transparency.
• Identify risks and develop mitigation plans to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
• Ensure compliance with internal standards, safety protocols and industry regulations.
• Continuously improve project delivery frameworks for scalability.
• Monitor and report critical metrics and ROI of implemented solutions.

Required profile

• Experience in production or engineering functions within medium‑to‑large international companies.
• Proven track record leading diverse projects in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated success in automation projects and managing equipment/machinery suppliers.
• Strong indirect people‑leadership skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Commitment to continuous improvement of products and processes.
