VPS Leader

About the role

The VPS Leader drives the implementation and continuous improvement of Value-Added Production System (VPS) across the plant. You will coordinate training, workshops, and daily operations to ensure lean manufacturing standards are applied consistently.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and deliver training on 5S, TPM, SMED, Hoshin, STOP SCRAP, VSA, Kanban, continuous flow, and other lean tools.
• Assess and validate that VPS standards are correctly applied in all APUs and logistics departments.
• Lead daily VPS network meetings, annual competence appraisals, and weekly VPS committee sessions.
• Participate in the Site/Plant Project Validation Committee and validate Full Production Days.
• Support the Site/Plant Manager in fostering a continuous‑improvement mindset and policy.
• Develop and maintain VPS tools, audits, and reporting mechanisms to monitor results.
• Lead pilot workshops for new VPS methodologies and ensure proper maintenance of VPS tools.
• Prepare the plant budget related to VPS targets and share best practices across the supply chain.

Required profile

• Proven experience applying VPS or lean manufacturing methodologies in an industrial environment.
• Demonstrated ability to organize training, lead workshops, and coach engineers/technicians.
• Strong analytical skills to build monitoring tools and produce lean reports.
• Capability to work closely with plant managers and cross‑functional teams.
