Full Stack Engineer

About the role

Gold Light Data is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to take over an ongoing migration of the Wixie creative learning platform to AWS. You will quickly get up to speed with an existing codebase, continue development, and later bridge into an AI‑driven proposal generation proof‑of‑concept for QEM Network.

Key responsibilities

• Assume ownership of the Wixie migration codebase with minimal hand‑off.
• Develop full‑stack features on AWS (API integration, frontend enhancements, database‑backed state).
• Participate in customer‑facing stand‑ups and sprint reviews, communicating progress and blockers.
• Collaborate with a Cloud Engineer providing junior support.
• Build a basic web UI for AI proposal generation, handling PDF uploads and query responses.
• Integrate the frontend with API Gateway → Lambda backend and coordinate with the AI/ML Engineer on Bedrock RAG pipelines.

Required profile

• Professional level of English (spoken, read, written) for direct customer interaction.
• Self‑directed, able to ramp quickly on existing code and maintain delivery cadence.
• Strong communication skills for clear status reporting.

Required skills

• Full‑stack development (4+ years) with React for the frontend.
• Backend experience in Node.js or Python.
• Serverless architecture on AWS: Lambda, API Gateway, authentication, request validation, CORS.
• S3 integration (pre‑signed URLs, multipart uploads).
• Database work with Amazon RDS (PostgreSQL) or DynamoDB.
• Experience with AWS services in production environments.
