WordPress and React Developer

About the role

We are seeking a WordPress and React Developer to join a globally distributed engineering team. You will work on high‑traffic WordPress themes and plugins while building modern React‑based front‑end experiences for a large user community.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and improve WordPress‑based products and React‑driven interfaces.
• Build and maintain scalable, performant, and secure WordPress themes and plugins.
• Develop interactive front‑end features using React and modern JavaScript practices.
• Collaborate with a distributed team via Git‑based workflows and agile communication tools.
• Contribute to architectural decisions and propose elegant solutions to complex technical challenges.
• Ensure code quality by following PHP, JavaScript, and WordPress development standards.
• Participate in enhancing product features, usability, and overall user experience.
• Stay up‑to‑date with modern web technologies and open‑source ecosystem trends.

Required profile

• Experienced full‑stack WordPress developer with strong front‑end expertise in React.
• Solid understanding of WordPress core architecture at the code level.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, distributed, agile environment.
• Problem‑solving mindset with a focus on clean, maintainable code.

Required skills

• WordPress core, custom themes, and plugins.
• PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript (ES6).
• React, jQuery, Git version control.
• WordPress coding standards and security best practices.
• Bonus: Redux, Gutenberg block development, TypeScript, Jest, PHPUnit, WPUnit, open‑source contributions.
