Remote Web Developer (WordPress & SEO)

About the role

Freitag Marketing is seeking a skilled and passionate Web Developer to join its fully remote team. You will work within the Eastern Time Zone, collaborating with designers, strategists, and project managers to build responsive, high‑performance websites and web applications for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites and web applications across client accounts.
• Translate mockups and wireframes into functional, visually polished user interfaces.
• Optimize sites for speed, performance, accessibility, and cross‑browser/device compatibility.
• Conduct testing and debugging to resolve issues promptly.
• Collaborate with designers, strategists, and project managers to deliver solutions on time and within scope.
• Stay current with web development trends and help adopt better tools and practices.

Required profile

• Studies in computer science, web development, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a web developer with a strong portfolio of real projects.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Clear communication and collaboration abilities across teams and with stakeholders.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.

Required skills

• WordPress development, including Divi and Elementor page builders.
• Experience collaborating with SEO teams and implementing their recommendations.
