Logistics Specialist

About the role

The Logistics Specialist is responsible for managing and optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain operations. You will coordinate transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution to ensure timely, cost‑effective delivery of goods. The role requires strong analytical abilities and experience with logistics software.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international shipments while ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies.
• Optimize transportation routes and carrier selection to reduce costs and improve delivery performance.
• Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to maintain product availability.
• Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Manage relationships with third‑party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and carriers.
• Prepare accurate shipment documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork.
• Lead or support logistics‑related projects such as system implementations and process improvements.
• Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior logistics staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations.
• Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and negotiation abilities.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
