About the role

The Material Planner and Scheduler will ensure that all raw materials and critical components are available on time and in the right quantities to support production at Bosch. This role involves close interaction with suppliers, inventory teams and production schedulers to guarantee seamless material flow.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and monitor raw‑material requirements, continuously reviewing shortage reports in AddOne.
• Create and manage purchase orders based on demand, lead times and supplier confirmations.
• Negotiate daily with suppliers, track ETD/ETA and communicate any delivery risks.
• Maintain vendor profiles in the AddOne MRP system and ensure data accuracy in SAP (PPT) MRP screens.
• Supervise inventory levels, monitor daily stock in‑plant and in‑transit, and raise timely risk alerts.
• React to demand variations of ±15 % to avoid excess inventory.
• Generate and control istar documents for air shipments, staying within budget and resolving discrepancies.
• Follow up blocked invoices through the PM7 workflow and ensure timely release.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify material shortages and their root causes.
• Excellent communication skills for supplier negotiation and internal coordination.
• Proactive attitude to monitor risks and drive corrective actions.
• Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment is preferred.
