Specialist, Order Management

About the role

Metso is looking for a Specialist in Order Management to join its Consumables Order Management Team. You will oversee the end‑to‑end order delivery process for North and Central America, ensuring that customer orders are booked, processed and delivered accurately and on time.

Key responsibilities

• Execute order processing and demand release consistently across the region.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement and logistics to maintain smooth information flow.
• Apply best practices in backlog management to meet delivery schedules.
• Identify and mitigate risks that could affect critical supply‑chain elements.
• Lead complex supply‑chain initiatives and manage supply planning in line with 12‑month Life Cycle Services contracts.
• Align delivery commitments with customer expectations and ensure compliance with Metso policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
• Significant experience in order management, supply chain or production planning.
• Advanced proficiency in English; Spanish and French are a plus.
• Strategic thinker with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment handling multiple priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
