Manufacturing Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to support our Rollers and Multitech assembly lines. The role combines hands‑on shop‑floor involvement with engineering and administrative duties to ensure products meet customer requirements, improve processes, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Define, update, and implement manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain process documentation such as flow charts, PFMEA, visual aids, and controlled work instructions.
• Design and implement poka‑yokes, fixtures, and tools with a focus on ergonomics and operator safety.
• Analyze assembly line capacity and align it with customer requirements.
• Define and manage manufacturing routings and upload related data into SAP.
• Lead and support continuous‑improvement projects aimed at KPI optimization.
• Follow up on CAPA activities to ensure timely closure.
• Update assembly layouts based on production changes and ensure EH&S compliance.
• Partner with Indirect Purchasing for quotations, expense tracking, and PO follow‑ups.
• Identify design issues on the floor, propose improvements, and participate in scheduled training programs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic to intermediate PLC programming experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and solid understanding of electrical concepts.
• Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills with hands‑on production experience.
• Advanced English proficiency and full‑time onsite availability.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and proactive mindset.
