Mechanical Engineer I

About the role

The Mechanical Engineer I will support process and product improvement as well as new product development, ensuring that solutions meet performance, quality, manufacturing and cost targets.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in improving existing processes and products.
• Participate in the development of new products from concept to production.
• Validate that designs satisfy performance, quality, manufacturability and cost requirements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams in a highly regulated environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in product development and manufacturing.
• Ability to work onsite in Guadalajara and travel to the US if required.
• Knowledge of quality standards and regulated environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office.
• Experience using NX/Teamcenter design software for piping, wiring, sheet‑metal and drawing creation.
• Intermediate knowledge of refrigeration systems.
• Basic understanding of GD&T and tolerance stack‑up analysis.
