Operations Manager – Delivery Station

About the role

Amazon is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a high‑volume Delivery Station. You will oversee the end‑to‑end delivery of Amazon orders, manage a large team, and ensure the station meets its productivity and safety targets.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations of a Delivery Station handling over 30,000 packages, operating 24/7.
• Maintain relationships with multiple Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) and coordinate on‑the‑road execution.
• Drive operational metrics, present performance data to senior leadership, and close gaps between goals and results.
• Hire, develop, and retain talent; create and execute a talent plan covering acquisition, performance, learning, succession, and engagement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional partners such as Transport & Sortation, Finance, Loss Prevention, IT, HR, and Engineering.
• Ensure safety culture, monitor service levels, and continuously improve driver and associate performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading large, fast‑paced logistics or transportation operations.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a data‑driven mindset.
• Excellent communication skills to convey vision and influence senior stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to build and develop high‑performing teams.
