Senior Tax Planning Manager – LATAM

About the role

We are looking for an experienced tax professional to lead tax planning initiatives across our Spanish‑speaking Latin America portfolio, including Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, Chile and other markets. Based in Mexico City, you will work closely with cross‑border colleagues and finance teams to deliver end‑to‑end tax planning projects.

Key responsibilities

• Propose, initiate and manage new tax planning projects for the LATAM region.
• Provide tax advice on ongoing initiatives and respond to complex internal tax inquiries.
• Manage external tax counsel across multiple jurisdictions.
• Collaborate with Tax Compliance and Transfer Pricing partners to ensure compliance.
• Monitor legislative developments and assess their impact on tax operations.
• Analyze judicial and administrative tax precedents affecting the company.
• Report on tax routines and issues to the LATAM Tax Team.
• Support Tax Teams in other jurisdictions, including headquarters, as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Law.
• Experience in large multinational corporations and/or Big 4 firms.
• Strong knowledge of multinational tax matters and analytical abilities.
• Effective oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, diverse environment.
• Advanced proficiency in English for global stakeholder communication.
• Preferred: experience with tax audits in Spanish‑speaking LATAM, transfer pricing exposure, and tax or law certification.
