Supplier Quality Manager

About the role

Join LEGO’s manufacturing team in Mexico as a Supplier Quality Manager, responsible for ensuring the safe introduction and successful launch of new packaging materials and direct suppliers. You will work closely with Procurement, R&D, and factory teams to maintain LEGO’s premium quality standards across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Lead quality assessments and audits for new suppliers in partnership with Procurement.
• Support supplier selection, ramp‑up, and onboarding processes.
• Ensure compliance with LEGO Supplier Quality Handbook, Product Safety, and other group requirements.
• Manage and resolve non‑conformances during supplier ramp‑up.
• Develop supplier development plans and mitigate quality risks.
• Coordinate shadow productions, pilot runs, and NPI activities.
• Collect, analyse, and report supplier performance data.
• Collaborate on productivity ideas and material improvements.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Supplier Quality or Quality Assurance.
• Proven experience with core quality tools (APQP, PPAP, AMEF, CP, SPC, MSA).
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification.
• Six Sigma Green or Black Belt (plus).
• Fluent English.
• Willingness to travel 20‑30% domestically and internationally (passport and visa required).
