Account Manager / Senior Buyer – Procurement & Logistics

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager / Senior Buyer to lead internal stakeholder relationships and supplier partnerships for our GWP (global workplace) product portfolio. The role combines procurement, account management, logistics and financial control to ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage GWP procurement projects (≈30% of time), selecting suppliers, negotiating costs and timelines, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.
• Assign jobs to approved suppliers, coordinate with cross‑functional teams and vendors to resolve engineering issues and maintain product development control.
• Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships, becoming an expert on their capabilities.
• Act as primary contact for internal stakeholders worldwide (≈50% of time), handling RFQs, samples, schedules, quality, engineering and logistics queries.
• Provide technical input, generate weekly WIP and profit‑and‑loss reports, and use management information systems.
• Oversee logistics operations (≈10% of time), arranging shipments, preparing paperwork and managing container orders.
• Control project finances (≈10% of time), ensuring competitive costs, following best‑practice procedures, identifying savings, and reconciling invoices.

Required profile

• Minimum five years of experience in print procurement, marketing services or print management with a focus on point‑of‑sale merchandising production.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities to work with internal and external partners at all levels.
• Highly analytical, detail‑oriented and able to work effectively under pressure.
• Proficient in English.
