Accounting Manager – Remote

About the role

The Accounting Manager will own all accounting outcomes for assigned US‑based clients, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with TGG standards. Working fully remote, you will lead Staff Accountants, maintain controls, and deliver reliable financial statements to the Controller.

Key responsibilities

• Review customer invoicing, vendor bills, payroll, and cash‑flow forecasts on a weekly basis.
• Perform P&L scrubs, resolve collections issues, and manage recurring accounting processes.
• Complete monthly technical QA checklists, balance‑sheet accuracy, sales‑tax pre‑payments, journal entry approvals, and financial package finalization.
• Quarterly 941 reconciliations and sales‑tax return preparation.
• Annual coordination of 1099 filings, chart‑of‑accounts review, and personal‑property tax submissions.
• Lead new‑client implementation: assess existing processes, design new procedures, and create initial reports (cash‑flow forecast, AP tracker, month‑end workbook, financial package).

Required profile

• 4+ years of accounting experience with US‑based clients.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, month‑end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Fluent English (written and spoken) and ability to work independently.

Required skills

• QuickBooks Online (or NetSuite) proficiency.
• Advanced Excel skills – formulas, data organization, basic analysis.
