About the role

The System Engineer / Administrator – Microsoft Infrastructure is responsible for operating, maintaining, and continuously improving the company’s global Microsoft environment across on‑premises and cloud platforms. The role ensures stable, secure, and efficient IT services worldwide while supporting Microsoft 365, Azure, Citrix, endpoint management, and security solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and enhance the global Microsoft infrastructure, both on‑premises and in Azure.
• Design, implement, and operate solutions based on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Microsoft Intune.
• Manage Windows Server lifecycle, including installation, configuration, upgrades, and patching.
• Support and develop Microsoft Unified Communications platforms.
• Provide 2nd‑ and 3rd‑level support for infrastructure, client, and server issues.
• Administer and optimise the global Citrix environment (XenDesktop, XenApp, NetScaler).
• Maintain virtualization platforms such as Hyper‑V and VMware.
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies, administer endpoint security, and support vulnerability remediation.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity; handle incident resolution and problem management.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell automation scripts to improve operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• 3–5 years of experience administering Microsoft Windows Server and Azure environments.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑level IT infrastructures in medium‑to‑large organizations.
