Advanced Quality Engineer, Machining

About the role

We are looking for an Advanced Quality Engineer specialized in machining to lead the development and implementation of quality documentation and tools during pre‑production and production phases of the LG Magna project. The role ensures risks and quality issues are prevented, guaranteeing customer satisfaction with the delivered product.

Key responsibilities

• Lead creation and rollout of quality documents and tools for pre‑production and production.
• Monitor APQP and PPAP deliverables and ensure compliance with internal and external standards.
• Conduct internal audits according to ISO/TS 16949 and VDA 6.3.
• Interpret and design measurement devices and analyze GD&T drawings.
• Apply statistical process control (SPC) and measurement system analysis (MSA) to machining processes.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to address product functionality and metallographic issues.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in quality engineering within machining environments.
• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related field) with professional certification.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

• APQP, PPAP, CSR knowledge.
