AP/AR Accountant III

About the role

The AP/AR Accountant III is responsible for managing both accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions. This role supports month‑end closing, audit requirements, and continuous process improvement within the finance team.

Key responsibilities

• Apply cash receipts, reconcile bank statements and perform AR aging analysis.
• Prepare daily AR sales reports and support internal/external audits.
• Process vendor invoices, create payment files, and execute payments to vendors and intercompany partners.
• Reconcile vendor statements, handle intercompany reconciliations, and respond to vendor inquiries.
• Generate monthly AP reports, support month‑end closing, and review employee expense reports.
• Identify and implement process improvements for both AR and AP operations.
• Perform ad‑hoc accounting tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in Finance or Accounting (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 5–10 years of relevant experience in accounts receivable and payable.
• Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access.
• Experience with ERP systems such as HFM, Microsoft Navision, Visual, IBS, Avante, Glovia, or Concur.
