Arrival Concierge

About the role

The Arrival Concierge greets resort guests as they arrive, creating the first point of contact before registration. This role initiates the relationship between guests and the concierge/VSC team, enhances guest penetration, and supports overall guest experience throughout the resort.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome all arriving guests and guide them to the reception area.
• Provide a welcome amenity such as a moist/cool towel or drink.
• Escort guests from reception, introduce them to the Concierge/VSC staff, and ensure a smooth hand‑off to bell staff or directly to their rooms.
• Handle reasonable guest requests to maximize guest engagement.
• Act as a lead‑generation agent, encouraging guests to visit the concierge desk for information and services.
• Support resort events by promoting activities and directing guests to the concierge/VSC for details.

Required profile

• High School Diploma.
• At least one year of experience in customer service, sales, or marketing.
• Fluent bilingual communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong customer‑service orientation and ability to build guest relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional telephone etiquette.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods, climb stairs, and lift up to 35 lb.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
