Clinic Nurse LPN

About the role

The Arkansas Epilepsy Program is seeking a Clinic Nurse LPN to work day shifts, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am‑4:00 pm. The nurse will support physicians in a busy outpatient setting, ensuring smooth patient flow and high‑quality care.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations, procedures, and minor surgeries.
• Assist the physician during procedures and minor surgeries.
• Perform diagnostic tests and provide patient education.
• Maintain clinic equipment and ensure it is ready for use.
• Act as liaison between the physician and external agencies such as hospitals, nursing homes, DME companies, pharmacies, HMOs, and other offices.
• Support other medical staff to maintain efficient patient flow.

Required profile

• Current LPN license in good standing (Arkansas or multi‑state covering Arkansas).
• CPR certification.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent (required for lab work).
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
