About the role
The Clinic Office Representative serves as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience from arrival to departure. Working daytime hours, this role supports the clinical team by handling administrative tasks, managing patient flow, and processing payments.
Key responsibilities
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and complete check‑in procedures.
- Answer incoming calls, schedule appointments, and coordinate referrals.
- Maintain and file patient records accurately, ensuring confidentiality.
- Process checkout, collect payments, and issue receipts.
- Assist with other clerical duties as assigned by the department.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a clinic or medical office preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication abilities.
- Basic typing proficiency of 35‑40 words per minute.
