Contracting Manager

About the role

Intrepid is looking for a Contracting Manager to lead supplier relationships and secure competitive pricing for all trips across Mexico. Working from our Cancun or Playa del Carmen office on a hybrid schedule, you will enable sales teams to craft innovative itineraries while ensuring profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, negotiate, and maintain contracts with suppliers delivering travel services in Mexico.
• Develop and manage a portfolio of product options that support sales and customer‑facing brands.
• Produce accurate costings and pricing models for client proposals.
• Oversee supplier performance to guarantee quality and cost‑effectiveness.
• Collaborate with remote teams and provide guidance on reservation systems and product development.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of Intrepid’s travel style and the Mexican tourism market.
• Established network of contacts, suppliers, and destinations within Mexico.
• Experience managing people, including remote employees.
• Proven track record in negotiations, pricing analysis, and commercial decision‑making.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English, with excellent written and verbal communication.
