Customer Service Representative – Food Ingredients

About the role

Join IFF’s Food Ingredients team in Polanco, Mexico, and take your customer service and commercial expertise to the next level. This hybrid position focuses on end‑to‑end order management, ensuring smooth processing from entry to delivery while supporting global customers.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full order lifecycle in SAP, including entry, invoicing, credits, returns and purchase orders.
• Maintain accurate customer records and handle credit/debit notes and special requests.
• Communicate proactively with customers and US stakeholders via written channels.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain, Logistics and Finance teams to guarantee timely deliveries.
• Monitor order status, resolve issues early and track cases using Salesforce and reporting tools.
• Deliver high customer satisfaction through timely follow‑up and problem resolution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, International Trade or a related field.
• 2–3 years of experience in customer service or order management.
• Proficiency in SAP for order entry, invoicing and credit/debit processing.
• Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• English level B2+ (written and spoken) and strong communication with international stakeholders.
