Customer Success Training Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Customer Success Training Specialist to design and deliver the learning journey for our Customer Success Managers. You will shape onboarding, continuous enablement and advanced skill development to help the team drive adoption of Vonage Communications APIs.

Key responsibilities

• Design and lead a comprehensive onboarding program that equips new CSMs with product knowledge, customer insights and partnership best practices.
• Create and maintain post‑onboarding curricula covering new feature releases, industry trends and advanced account‑management tactics such as upselling and cross‑selling.
• Conduct data‑driven needs assessments to identify skill gaps and align training initiatives with revenue goals.
• Develop blended learning experiences—including live workshops, virtual sessions and eLearning modules—for global CS teams.
• Produce practical job aids, visual guides and “Success Plays” that translate technical API capabilities into actionable outcomes.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for CS tools (Gong, Salesforce, Planhat) and ensure efficient system usage.
• Partner with CS leadership and Sales Enablement to synchronize product updates and process improvements.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in Customer Success training or enablement, preferably with prior CSM exposure.
• Strong understanding of the B2B sales and customer lifecycle.
• Data‑oriented mindset for assessing training impact and aligning with business objectives.
