Cyber Security Analyst

About the role

As a Cyber Security Analyst at FLSmidth A/S you will protect digital assets, systems and data from cyber threats. You will monitor security tools, investigate incidents and help maintain a robust security posture across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls and other security tools for anomalies and threats.
• Analyze security incidents, determine root causes and execute containment and remediation.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on systems and applications.
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures and guidelines aligned with industry standards.
• Participate in security awareness training and collaborate with IT teams on security controls.
• Stay current with cyber security trends, threats and emerging technologies.
• Assist in incident response planning, forensic analysis and recovery.
• Generate security reports and metrics for management.
• Evaluate and recommend new security solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a cyber security role, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Hands‑on experience with an ITSM platform such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Familiarity with NIST, ISO 27001 and other security frameworks.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
