About the role

We are looking for a Desktop Support professional to join Cognizant’s IT team in Naucalpan. The role focuses on delivering expert remote desktop assistance, ensuring smooth operations for all users, and contributing to a dynamic, inclusive workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert remote desktop support to all users, minimizing downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Log and track support requests in the ticketing system for accurate reporting.
• Install, configure, and maintain desktop systems and software applications.
• Monitor system performance and proactively address potential disruptions.
• Collaborate with team members to develop effective support strategies.
• Coordinate with vendors and service providers for timely hardware and software resolutions.
• Develop and deliver user training sessions to reduce support volume.
• Document support processes, procedures, and knowledge‑base articles.
• Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement and ensure compliance with company policies.
