DevOps Engineer

About the role

MedTrainer is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and automation pipelines that power its compliance platform for healthcare organizations. You will work closely with software, SRE, platform, and product teams to ensure reliable, secure, and efficient delivery of software.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain reusable Infrastructure as Code components.
• Design, implement, and support CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions, including environment‑based deployments, approval gates, and rollback mechanisms.
• Develop and manage Ansible roles, inventories, and playbooks for OS, middleware, and application configuration.
• Support containerized application delivery with Docker/OCI images and Kubernetes deployment patterns.
• Automate operational and release tasks to reduce manual handoffs and configuration drift.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting for applications, infrastructure, and pipelines.
• Maintain cloud environments across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP following security and cost‑control guidelines.
• Participate in incident response, on‑call rotation, and production support activities.

Required profile

• Passion for automation, cloud platforms, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and Linux.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams.
• Strong problem‑solving skills for infrastructure and delivery challenges at scale.
