Direct Material Purchasing Buyer

About the role

The Direct Material Purchasing Buyer will lead the sourcing strategy, supplier management and operational support for the harness segment across all plants and product lines. This role ensures continuous supply, commercial competitiveness, high quality performance and contributes to the development of the regional footprint.

Key responsibilities

• Lead sourcing strategy and supplier management for the harness segment.
• Ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness and quality performance.
• Support footprint development and cross‑functional program execution.
• Manage supplier performance, negotiations and commercial alignment.
• Coordinate with plants, engineering, quality and supply chain management for program needs.
• Drive sourcing decisions, mitigation actions and VEVA pipeline development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Previous experience in purchasing, standard components, raw material trends, engineering, quality and negotiation.
