Distribution Account Manager

About the role

The Distribution Account Manager oversees the day‑to‑day management of assigned distribution partners across the AMER region, ensuring they are onboarded, configured, and operating according to IHG standards while delivering value to hotels.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned distribution partners, handling all account‑management activities.
• Support and lead regular business reviews (MBRs, QBRs) with partners and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate with commercial teams to identify high‑value business development opportunities.
• Lead contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring compliance with IHG distribution standards and rate‑parity requirements.
• Own partner onboarding, system setup, and ongoing maintenance across distribution tools, maintaining accurate data in Merlin.
• Act as first escalation point for connectivity and channel support issues, coordinating with technical teams and external providers.
• Monitor partner KPIs, conduct business reviews, and resolve operational and compliance issues.

Required profile

• 8+ years of progressive experience as a Product Manager or Senior Product Manager.
• Proven track record leading medium‑to‑large partner integration projects.
• Strong experience in travel‑technology ecosystems, including GDS, OTAs, and PMS.
• Demonstrated ability to manage contracts, vendor relationships, and ensure rate parity.
