Environmental & Product Stewardship Lead

About the role

The Environmental & Product Stewardship Lead will drive the global implementation of the OPV Environmental Management System and ensure product stewardship compliance for PVC resin and derivative products. Working from the Reforma site, you will partner with R&D, Quality, Marketing, HSE and local stewardship teams to embed a culture of environmental responsibility across all operations.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain guidelines for the global Environmental Management System.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve environmental efficiency, including projects, procedures and operational controls.
• Promote safe working techniques and reinforce HSE policies to strengthen the HSE&S culture.
• Provide corporate‑level guidance for HSE&S programs, reporting platforms (ODISEO, ENHESA) and audit plans.
• Identify potential losses, assess risk, and implement corrective or preventive measures.
• Create strategies and KPIs to achieve corporate environmental objectives.

Required profile

• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental, Industrial, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience developing and managing internal HSE audits and sustainable projects.
• Experience implementing environmental management systems at a global scale.
