Executive Assistant for Quantitative Hedge Fund

About the role

Moreton Capital Partners, a systematic, technology-first investment manager, is seeking a proactive Executive Assistant to support its leadership team. The role blends high-level calendar and travel management with project coordination, recruiting support, and process improvement in a fast‑moving quantitative hedge-fund environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the CIO’s complex calendar, investor calls and cross‑time‑zone scheduling.
• Coordinate travel, logistics and operational support for research and investor trips.
• Prepare and maintain investor materials, reporting packs and data‑room updates.
• Assist hiring processes: source candidates, schedule interviews and ensure a smooth candidate experience for engineers, quants and interns.
• Drive internal projects and strategic initiatives across operations, hiring and infrastructure.
• Create documents, presentations and internal communications, acting as a hub between leadership, research and external partners.
• Oversee vendors, office operations and administrative processes, keeping documentation and contracts organized.
• Identify process gaps and implement automation using AI and modern productivity tools.

Required profile

• 2‑5+ years experience as an Executive Assistant or Chief of Staff.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to anticipate needs.
• Strong judgment, discretion and professional communication skills in English.
• Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini.
• Ability to quickly learn new software and modern productivity platforms.
