Finance & Accounting Specialist - Month-End Close

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Specialist in Finance & Accounting (F&A) for its Guadalajara office, working on month-end closing activities. The role covers reporting, consolidation, statutory statements and balance-sheet reconciliations, with a hybrid schedule and day-shift work.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all month-end closing activities, including reviewing and posting month-end journal entries
• Prepare and review balance-sheet account reconciliations and handle quarterly intercompany processes
• Resolve balancing items and ensure timely completion of controls
• Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, and drive audit deliverables and evidence submissions
• Produce quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements
• Build customer relationships, lead process-update calls and recommend process and automation improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Experience in accounting with closing and reporting
• Proficiency in Spanish (C2)
