Specialist - F&A - R2R 4A (Month-End Close)

About the role

Genpact is looking for a Specialist in Finance & Accounting (F&A) - Record to Report (R2R) 4A, based in Guadalajara, Mexico. The role covers all month-end closing activities, including reporting, consolidation, reconciliations and statutory financial statements. It is a regular, day-shift position with a hybrid arrangement.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end closing activities, including reviewing and posting month-end journal entries
• Ensure adherence to KPIs and SLAs, and review the timely execution of controls
• Drive audit deliverables and ensure evidence is submitted on time
• Produce quarterly, annual and audited statutory financial statements
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations and handle quarterly intercompany processes
• Resolve balancing items
• Build customer relationships, lead process-update calls with customers and recommend process and automation improvements

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics or Finance, or a Master's in Finance
• Experience in accounting with closing and reporting
• Proficiency in Spanish (C2)
