Freelance Art Director

About the role

We are seeking a Freelance Art Director to lead the creation of high‑impact, performance‑driven campaigns for a variety of digital and traditional channels. This fully remote position offers flexibility and the chance to work on innovative projects while exploring AI‑powered creative tools.

Key responsibilities

• Conceptualize and design social‑first, performance‑focused campaigns across social media, digital ads, video, email, landing pages and other marketing channels.
• Develop and adapt assets for print, out‑of‑home, broadcast and other multimedia formats as needed.
• Collaborate closely with Account Management and Project Management teams to align work with client objectives, timelines and deliverables.
• Contribute innovative ideas and strategic creative solutions that strengthen brand storytelling and audience engagement.
• Integrate AI‑powered tools into brainstorming, design exploration and production workflows where they add value.
• Maintain strong attention to detail while managing multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment.
• Participate actively in feedback sessions, creative reviews and collaborative brainstorming.

Required profile

• 1‑2+ years of experience in an agency or fast‑paced creative environment.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in social‑first, performance‑focused campaigns across multiple platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign); experience with Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
• Solid understanding of digital design principles, creative strategy, branding and visual storytelling.
• Experience creating work across digital, video, web, print and motion design formats.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines and revisions without compromising quality.
• Curiosity about emerging technologies, including AI tools that support creative ideation and production.
