General Manager – Mexico (Pharmaceutical Industry)

About the role

We are seeking a highly strategic and commercially driven leader to head our operations in Mexico and drive the next phase of growth within the pharmaceutical sector. The General Manager will shape the affiliate’s strategy, accelerate commercial performance, and ensure successful product launches across the Mexican market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Mexico business strategy aligned with global objectives and regional priorities.
• Lead commercial growth initiatives through partner management, business development, and strategic alliances.
• Drive product launch execution in coordination with Commercial, Medical, Market Access, Regulatory, and Supply Chain teams.
• Own and manage the affiliate P&L, ensuring sustainable growth, profitability, and market expansion.
• Identify new business opportunities, portfolio expansion initiatives, and partnership models.
• Build and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, industry associations, healthcare stakeholders, and key partners.
• Lead and develop high‑performing cross‑functional teams across Commercial, Medical, Regulatory, Finance, and Operations.
• Foster a culture of compliance, accountability, innovation, collaboration, and patient‑centricity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Life Sciences or related field; MBA preferred.
• 10+ years of senior leadership experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in commercial leadership, P&L management, strategic partnerships, and product launch execution.
• Deep knowledge of the Mexican pharmaceutical market and regulatory environment.
• Fluent English; Spanish proficiency implied by location.
• Strong business vision, high execution capability, and excellent stakeholder management skills.
