About the role

The Continuous Improvement Manager will partner with plant and regional management to define and execute a Lean roadmap aligned with global and regional strategies. The role focuses on optimizing plant layout, value‑stream design, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across all teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement a Lean roadmap that meets global and regional objectives.
• Lead plant layout and value‑stream design projects to improve material flow and reduce throughput time for key product families.
• Build Lean expertise within the plant and promote a Lean mindset among all employees.
• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate workshops such as Kaizen, Hoshin, VSM, 5S, SMED, and layout optimization.
• Report progress, indicators, and measurable results to plant and regional management.
• Ensure the implementation of the MANN+HUMMEL Production System (MHPS) and act as cross‑assessor for MHPS assessments in other plants.
• Drive the adoption of Group best practices related to Lean, including Pull Flow, Kanban, Milk‑Run, Heijunka, TPM, and SMED.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Lean or continuous‑improvement initiatives in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of the MANN+HUMMEL Production System or similar Lean frameworks.
• Ability to train and empower plant personnel to conduct improvement workshops autonomously.
• Excellent analytical and reporting skills with a focus on measurable outcomes.

Required skills

• Lean tools: 5S, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri, Value Stream Mapping (VSM/eVSM), Value Stream Design (VSD).
• Production flow techniques: Pull Flow, Kanban, Milk‑Run, Supermarkets, Batch Building Box, Heijunka.
• SMED (Single‑Minute Exchange of Die) methodology and tracking.
• TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) implementation.
• Plant layout and value‑stream design expertise.
• Training and workshop facilitation for Lean methodologies.
