Human Resources Director

About the role

We are looking for a Human Resources Director to lead the HR function for the El Marino private golf and beach club community in Los Cabos, Mexico. The role partners with senior leadership to align people strategy with business goals and fosters a collaborative, high‑engagement culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall HR strategy, covering talent acquisition, onboarding, development, retention and employee engagement.
• Manage all personnel operations including recruitment, orientation, training, performance evaluation, progressive discipline and termination.
• Provide strategic HR advice to senior management and ensure compliance with local labor legislation.
• Design, update and communicate HR policies, procedures and job descriptions.
• Oversee compensation plans, benefits administration and HR budgeting.
• Administer health, wellness and insurance programs at national and international levels.
• Coordinate immigration and global mobility processes.
• Maintain union relations and lead collective‑bargaining negotiations.
• Promote a recognition‑driven culture through employee events and communication initiatives.
• Implement performance management systems, succession planning and organizational climate assessments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Relations, Psychology, Organizational Communication or a related field.
