Inbound Transportation Analyst – Heavy Duty Trucks

About the role

The Inbound Transportation Analyst will lead transportation planning, cost management and network optimization for the Saltillo Truck Heavy Duty plant. You will ensure efficient JIT routing of productive parts, drive cost‑saving initiatives and support new model launches.

Key responsibilities

• Design, manage and optimize JIT routing and IBT network for the plant.
• Track and improve standard and off‑standard transportation costs.
• Develop and implement Cost Saving Initiatives (CSIs) and business cases with procurement.
• Conduct monthly financial analysis, forecast vs. actual reconciliation, and cost studies.
• Manage carrier and supplier relationships, including payment oversight and account follow‑up.
• Support yard and trailer pool management, accessorial cost approval, and logistics audits.
• Participate in new model launch studies and IBT model‑year standards creation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in transportation, logistics or supply chain.
• Advanced English proficiency with strong analytical and collaborative abilities.
• Organized, proactive, adaptable and innovative mindset.
