Industrial Engineering Manufacturing Lead – Automotive

About the role

Program responsibility for the industrialization of Car Audio and Connected Car programs across manufacturing sites. Acts as the focal point for manufacturing readiness, product validation, customer run‑at‑rate, and new product launch start‑of‑production.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of process and test engineers to ensure successful industrialization of automotive projects launched in multiple global sites.
• Manage several complex projects simultaneously, planning and controlling capital budgets, schedules, and resources for single‑ and multi‑site initiatives.
• Align stakeholders on schedules, capacity, and quality, and drive corrective actions to meet project objectives.
• Collaborate with Product Design to develop high‑quality, cost‑efficient manufacturing processes.
• Lead manufacturing RFQ processes for new business, providing CAPEX requirements and labor time estimates.
• Ensure industrialization follows defined processes to meet KPIs for throughput, labor rate, capital cost, and quality.
• Serve as the OEM‑project interface to Program Management, Manufacturing, Production Quality, and Advanced Manufacturing Engineering.
• Provide transparent reporting to Program Management, Operations Management, and OEM customers.

Required profile

• Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred).
• At least 5 years of experience in industrialization or production of automotive electronic/acoustic products.
• Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, budgeting, and capacity planning.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% and work onsite in Queretaro, Mexico.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.
